Dance Month. International Exhibition of Contemporary Dance in Seville

Month full of color and movement for the twenty-fourth edition of 'Dance Month', the international dance festival of Seville, which takes place from October 25 to November 5, 2017.
DANCE MONTH presents a program with fifty-nine functions, in thirty different spaces in the city, which represents a significant increase compared to 2016.
Dance in theaters, halls, and streets. Among them, the Maestranza Theater, Alameda Theater in Seville, La Fundición Hall, Pavilion of the Future, CICUS, Center for Cultural Initiatives of the University of Seville, Central Theater, Gardens of the Exhibition Casino, Las Setas, bookstore-café Chaotic, Maria Luisa Park / Archaeological Museum, San Francisco Square, Alfalfa ... Street proposals will once again take iconic spaces of the city such as Virgen de los Reyes square, Archivo de Indias or New York pier.
As a novelty, this edition hosts a selection of short pieces awarded in national competitions.
Workshops, parallel, peripheral activities. Euro-Mediterranean project of training for young interpreters around dance in public spaces, which widens horizons reaching the C3A of Córdoba, on Sunday, November 5, at 1:00 p.m.

The Teatro de la Maestranza maintains its commitment to the Dance Month, hosting in its Sala Manuel García various shows in four functions, on October 31, November 1, 2 and 3, at 8:30 p.m.
